Achievements as a Zontian

Area Director - I successfully inspired all clubs to unite and carried out activities in align with ZI mission using my motto “Hand in Hand, Together We Can”. Relationship was strengthened and joint projects were organized, many of which were outstanding. Area 6 received 23 D.R.E.A.M.S. Achievement Awards during the 19th District Conference:

• 1st place Award
• Silver Level in Membership
• Service
• 100% Club Donation

19 awards were granted for various Clubs’ Service and Advocacy projects. Formation of a new Club also took place.

What are your goals for advancing the objects of Zonta International in District 17 and concrete programs to accomplish?

My goal is to strengthen, expand and develop our organization. Increasing good quality members is the major factor. Zontians in leadership roles should have knowledge of governance. Members should have good understanding of vision and mission of Zonta.

Concrete programs are as followed:

• Supporting District Governor’s vision and mission to achieve goals
• Creating workshops and events to “RECRUIT” new members
• Encouraging members to participate in Zonta activities to build strong knowledge as well as friendship and harmony to “RETAIN” members
• Assisting all Areas in formation of new clubs with good quality members
• Focusing on increasing Young Professional members
