On every odd year of our biennium, we hold our District Conference. During the conference we listen to the message of our International President, hear reports by the District Officers and Committee Chairs. And we get information on Zonta's role as an international organization specifically on activities of the Zonta Foundation for Women.
The voting members of the conference vote on the proposed amendents, elect the District Board and District Nominating Committee, and adopt the District Budget for the next biennium.
We hold workshop with relevant topics and adopt resolutions pertaining to the District.
Most specially, we hold our District Conference to celebrate. We appreciate and celebrate the commitment and dedication of our long-serving Zontians, we remember and celebrate the passion and devotion of our dearly departed Zisters and we recognize and celebrate the effort, hard work and achievements of our Clubs, Area, and the District.
Our District Conference is always special as it brings us around our member countries. And this biennium, we bring it back to the Philippines. Let me take this opportunity to invite you dear Zontians to our 22nd District Conference on 29 September to 01 October 2023 at the Grand Hyatt Manila. Our new ZI tagline this biennium is "Build a Better World for Women and Girls" So why do we want to build a better world for women? Because... as our District Conference theme says, "A Better World for Women is a Better World". Let us "Celebrate Ourselves," and be inspired to carry on. Remember, Together Everyone Achieves More. Together Everyone Achieves MAGIS. Let us work as a team, a Team in Action. And together let us continue to "Build a Better World for Women and Girls."
